About Us
We are Ocean and environment protection non-profit organisation aiming at creation of cultural events promoting ocean literacy, environmental education and awareness, sustainability, citizen science, gender equality, all that with cultural and social focus.
Our name is inspired by words of Her Deepness Dr. Sylvia A. Earle - Oceans are the blue heart of the Planet - as we deeply believe that Oceans are a beating heart and blue lungs of our natural world that we all belong to.
Our Mission
Our mission is promotion of ocean literacy, ocean protection, environmental education, environmental conservation, sustainability, social entrepreneurship, permaculture, circular economy, citizen science, gender equality and other social initatives.
Our Goals
Our overall goal is raising environmental awareness in society, safeguarding our Blue Planet and enhancing 17 Sustainable Development Goals introduced by United Nations.
Our Story
Founded in 2019, we are based in Portugal, but also cooperating with Iceland and other ocean countries. We join international community of people caring for Oceans health, well-being and aiming to stop further degradation of Ocean life.

Marine litter is a huge problem. In Portugal plastic constitutes 72% of all garbage that is dumped in the Ocean
Results of our beach cleanups
Thanks to participation of volunteers we picked up several kilograms of plastic marine litter from various beaches in Cascais region near Lisbon
